Frequently asked questions

Do I need a credit card to start?+

No. The free plan needs no credit card. You only enter payment info when upgrading.

What happens when I hit 10 parts on the free plan?+

You can't add new listings until you upgrade or delete old ones. You can still manage and sell existing parts.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes. Cancel from your account settings anytime. You keep access until the end of the billing period.

Does this work at any U-Pull yard in the US?+

Phase 1 covers SoCal (800+ yards). We're expanding by region — sign up to get notified when your area is covered.

Do I need an eBay account?+

Yes, you connect your existing eBay account. The Parts lists on your account — you keep all your seller feedback and history.

How is 'net profit' calculated?+

Sell price minus: eBay final value fee (13.25%), shipping estimate, and your entry fee to the yard. You can adjust the defaults in settings.

What data do you use for pricing?+

Real sold listings from eBay Motors — not asking prices. Data is updated every 24 hours and filtered to show what buyers in your state actually paid.

Is there a mobile app?+

The web app works on any phone browser — no app store download needed. A native mobile app is on the roadmap.

I'm not tech-savvy — is this hard to use?+

We built it for people who aren't tech people. If you can take a photo and type a price, you can use The Parts. Average listing time is under 2 minutes.
